Edit Results in Guided Fundraising

It would be helpful for Staff users to be able to edit call results within Guided Fundraising. As it stands now, if an Agent makes a mistake while selecting a result code (and, let's be honest, this will happen to every Agent as they learn the job and make a small error here and there), the only chance we have to fix that mistake is when the result is entered into our database. Because the initial error stays errant in Guided Fundraising, it essentially makes all reporting from Guided Fundraising inaccurate and useless, which is a huge shame.

I came here to post this. I can't stress enough how important this is. Editing results and reviewing them are crucial to an efficient and productive Annual Giving program.

Here are some other common reasons to consider:

    • Missing or wrong designation/gift information can be fixed by manager/supervisor. This will eliminate or drastically reduce upset donors that have the wrong designation, amount, or due date.

      • We’ve had upset alumni get an automated email for a designation they didn’t want to support that could have been avoided with a review system or the ability to change designations before an automated email is sent.

    • Added a note but not “additional information” to a pledge so we miss it. We could catch these notes that should really be in additional information. Due date, gift information, recurring payments, etc.

    • Coded a call as a not available when they asked to not be called anymore (it’s happened).

      • Agents will tell us this information and the only thing we can do is “Complete” them. This is so limiting and doesn’t allow us to accurately represent the result of the call.

    • Adding gift results that come from email, text, or mail that should be attributed to BBGF.

      • This makes your platform represent the success you’re actually having. We have $54,000 in gifts that have come in from our emails, texts, and ThankView messages (we track this through an appeal code on our giving form). But if we look at BBGF, none of those dollars and gifts are represented in your analytics/metrics.

      • BBGF should get credit for this! We can track internally but I’m sure a lot of clients don’t, unfortunately. What if they see results from Ruffalo of $300,000 on year and $250,000 with you but they never tracked the $60,000 that were raised by text, email, and ThankView. You could lose a client because of that.

      • This would help you show off your product better, retain more clients, capture more clients, etc.
